Laboratory Attendance PolicyAny student who misses attending more than two laboratory meetings
during the term without making them up shall be automatically assigned the letter
grade of "NC" by his/her lecture instructor at the time of assigning grades. Missed
labs may be made up only during the week in which they are originally offered,
only in another regularly scheduled laboratory class, and only if space permits.
"Attending a lab" means that the student was present at the time that the instructor
began the lab and stayed until the instructor dismissed the lab. Exceptions to
this policy shall be considered only by written petition to the General Biology
Laboratory Coordinator, currently Dr. Christianson. |
Important NoticeLabs 8 and 9 meet off campus. You are responsible for arranging
your own ride to and from the sites. A map precedes each exercise in the lab manual.
You will be released with enough time to return to campus for a class immediately
following the lab meeting. |
